Summer Intern

Evance Tarimo, from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a graduate in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Dar es Salaam. His research interests include computational genomics, human genetic variation, and the functional interpretation of genomic data using bioinformatics tools. He contributes to the advances in computational genomics research and contribute to genomics-driven health research in Africa. Evance joined the CGR Lab as a remote summer intern in June 2026 through the Mentorship and Research Individualized Training (MERIT) program, a collabaration between Stanford genetics and Tanzania human genetics organization (THGO).
